However it does not have a lot of hold. The wheat protein blend expands when hair is wet and then retracts when hair is dry to lock in curl or waves.

Right now I find the be curly curl enhancer loosens my curls and defines each strand of hair a lot.

It is a bit expensive but no more so than the rest of the Aveda line.
